Owners of vintage and classic cars with SU carburettors are experiencing problems with the standard jets either sticking closed, which causes the engine to fail to start or causes it to stop, or in the open position, which causes flooding. This may be due to the presence of ethanol in the petrol, or to cars not being used regularly enough to circulate the petrol, or a combination of both. Grose Jets are made to a different design, using two balls to seal the jet and are being used to resolve the problems described above. Supplied with washer
